Elementary and Secondary Teacher Trainees
Denver Teacher Residency wants career changers and college grads from all backgrounds to become teachers and make an impact in the classrooms of Denver Public Schools.

DTR residents spend a rigorous first year training and teaching with a mentor teacher in a DPS classroom while earning a master's degree at DU. Teachers are then in high-needs DPS classrooms and after completing the program, earn a teaching license and full tuition reimbursement.

DTR is committed to diversifying the teaching corps and actively recruits those who reflect the ethnic and linguistic needs of DPS' students.
